Drowning Man - Painting Inspiration Recreation

I chose to recreate a painting called "Portrait of an artist (Pool with two figures) by David Hockney". The goal of this project is to inspried from the painting and try to replicate the lighting and composition of the painting using 3D element.

The feeling and mood that i get form this feeling is that with bright and vivid color have a darker and interesting feeling to it. As for the meaning i got from the image is that you as a perfect person looking down at person(can be yourself or other) who struggle/drown underwater trying to reach the end of the pool but never will. It show the disconnect of reality of you as a person trying to reach for a perfect ending/ perfect world but it will never happen as a person looking down it show that even in the perfect world but cant/don't want to reach out to help because you might get wet and feel bad. Its just like this world where people see other struggle but only look and cant do anything.
